Panzano’s greatest attraction is the shop and restaurant of the world’s favorite butcher, Dario Cecchini, and eating there is an experience not to be missed. This daytrip begins in Gaiole in Chianti with a tour and tasting at one of Chianti Classico’s greatest and most celebrated wineries that also produces exquisite extra virgin olive oil. The winery is unique in that it is home to a spectacular permanent contemporary art collection, which visitors will be guided through. The day then continues at Dario’s restaurant for an unforgettable multi-course meal capable of turning even non-meat-lovers into carnivores.
